Special Remote Live Streaming about the Traditional Bible Texts (TR/KJB)

The DBS One Purpose. The Dean Burgon Society, since its inception, has but one purpose--In Defense of Traditional Bible Texts. Since June, 1978, this organization has, by its members, speakers, officers, and friends, held high the banner of such Traditional Texts as the Masoretic Hebrew, the Textus Receptus Greek, the King James Bible, and other language versions based upon the Traditional Hebrew and Greek texts. While the speakers have their own ministries and various emphases therein, when they come together once each year for their annual meeting, they lay aside other issues, and major on this one theme In Defense of Traditional Bible Texts.

The Publication of the DBS Messages. There are three means of publishing the messages at the Dean Burgon Society conferences: (1) Audio Cassettes of all the messages; (2) DVD's of all the messages; and (3) Printed forms of most of the messages in the DBS Message Book. If you are unable to attend, you might consider informing yourself on these issues by one or all of these three ways.

Video/Audio Tapes. You can pre-order your audio and/or video tapes of our 33rd annual DBS conference. We expect to have 8 two-hour audio cassettes for a GIFT to DBS of $24.00 + $4 S&H. For the VHS and/or DVD video cassettes, we expect to have 3 six-hour videos for a GIFT to DBS of $35.00 + $5 S&H. Whether you are able or not able to attend our meetings in Collingswood, NJ, July27-28, 2011, you can have these permanent records of our speakers to share with others and to review for yourself.

Books on the King James Bible Battle

There have been a number of recent books that you might be interested in on the subject of the Hebrew or Greek that underlies the King James Bible or on the King James Bible itself. Here are a few:

1.Fundamentalist DISTORTIONS on Bible Versions. This is an answer to a video made by seven "major Fundamentalist institutions." These seven schools are as follows: (1) Bob Jones University; (2) Detroit Baptist Seminary; (3) Central Baptist Seminary; (4) Calvary Baptist Seminary; (5) Clearwater Christian College; (6) Northland Baptist Bible College; and (7) Maranatha Baptist Bible College. It is 80 pages as # 2928/P @ $7+$3 S&H, by Pastor D. A. Waite, Th.D., Ph.D.

2.Fundamentalist MIS-INFORMATION on Bible Versions. In its 144 pages, the author exposes 118 points of MIS-INFORMATION in a book called From the Mind of God to the Mind of Man. This book was masterminded by representatives of Bob Jones University through the active participation of its graduates, board members, teachers, and President. Fundamentalist MIS-INFORMATION on Bible Versions pulls no punches. It is # 2974 @ $7+$3 S&H, by Pastor D. A. Waite, Th.D., Ph.D.

3.Forever Settled. It is a hardback book of 300 pages. It gives the history of both the Hebrew and the Greek manuscripts that make up our King James Bible. This is a book filled with solid evidence in favor of our KJB. It is # 1428 @ $20+$4 S&H, by Dr. Jack Moorman, missionary to England.

4.An Open Public Letter to Dr. Bob Jones III. This is a 24 large page letter by Pastor D. A. Waite, Th.D., Ph.D. to Dr. Bob Jones III, president of Bob Jones University. It is a studied answer to Dr. Jones" letter to Dr. Waite of March 28, 2000. This is an important document because it shows clearly Dr. Jones" hostile attitude to Dr. Waite and also to the Textus Receptus underlying the King James Bible. He calls the book, Fundamentalist MIS-INFORMATION on Bible Versions as a "diatribe." The value of this "Open Public Letter" is that it pits two leaders in the battle for the New Testament against one another. Dr. Jones and his Bob Jones University is the champion of the apostate, heretical Westcott and Hort Greek New Testament. He knows this false text is being taught at his university to the students there and does nothing about it. This makes him an accessory before and after the fact. Dr. Waite is one of the leaders in the support of the Textus Receptus underlying the King James Bible. By the same token, he is a strong opponent of the Westcott and Hort and those who favor that false and heretical text--even if they are, and even especially if they are known as "Fundamentalists." It is # 2987 @ $2.00 + $1.00 S&H. Though there are many Fundamentalist doctrines that Dr. Waite agrees with Dr. Jones on, this area of the Bible"s text and translations is one where there is a colossal and yawning great divide. Dr. Jones is on notice that any other correspondence will be treated also as an "Open Public Letter" just as this present correspondence has been.

6. Scrivener"s Greek. The Dean Burgon Society has reprinted Dr. Frederick Scrivener"s Annotated Greek New Testament. It is the exact Greek text that underlies the King James Bible. He has put in BOLD LETTERS the words that Westcott and Hort changed from that Textus Receptus text. It is for a GIFT of $35.00 +S&H in hardback and $45.00 +S&H in genuine leather.
