and Addition of the Chinese Union New Testament Bible"
June 3, 2006 This is a book by Pastor James Sun about the King James Bible (KJB) and the Chinese Union Version (CUV). It is 134 pages in length. He wrote it in 2003 as graduation thesis for the Master of Religious Education (MRE) from the Far Eastern Bible College (FEBC) in Singapore. His thesis was under the direction of Dr. Timothy Tow, Pastor of the True Life Bible Presbyterian Church. Dr. Tow is also the Principal of the FEBC. Pastor Sun is presently the Pastor of Bethany Christian Church in New York. In the book, he explains some of the corrections, omissions, mistranslations, additions and other changes that the CUV makes when compared to the King James Bible (KJB) New Testament and the Textus Receptus (TR) on which the KJB is based. The verses are given both in Chinese and English. He identifies over 395 verses where there are mistranslations in the CUV as compared with the KJB/TR. Waite, Pastor James Sun, Pastor Joshua Lee, and David Tsai are presently working to conform the CUV to both the KJB and the TR New Testament.
