 Dr. Jack Moorman's newly published hardback book, Forever Settled, is a survey
of the documents and history of the Bible. It stands firmly for the King James Bible and
its underlying Hebrew and Greek texts. It contains 320 pages of information, including
thirty-one chapters in five parts which are as follows:
1. A survey of the Old Testament
documents;
2. The issues we face regarding the New
Testament text;
3. The witness of the Early Church
Fathers to the Received Text;
4. A survey of the New Testament
documents; and
5. A survey of English Bible History.
The volume is made even more useful by a twenty-six page index of words and phrases and
a two-page Scripture index. Forever Settled has been used in another format as a
textbook in several Christian Colleges since its writing in 1985. The 1999 hardback
edition is even more serviceable to the student who is searching for sound answers to the
