The annual meeting of the DBS women will be held in the main
auditorium from 10 to 12 noon on Wednesday, July 9, 2008. The men will be
meeting from 9 to 12 noon in another room. Linda Brown (WI), our hostess, will
welcome the women with a devotional. Patricia Williams (GA) will speak on "The
Brilliancy of the King James Translators." Elinor Gorton (WI) and Tamara
Waite (NJ) will give their testimonies. Yvonne Waite will present a memorial
tribute to Mrs. Jane Hollowood. All women are encouraged to attend.

1. Inspiration and Interpre- tation by Dean John

2. A Guide to the Textual Criticism of the New
Testament. This book is by Rev. Edward Miller who was a close friend and
fellow worker with Dean John W. Burgon. In this volume, Miller condenses and
sums up Dean Burgon's methodology for textual criticism. In it he refutes the
false system used by Bishop Westcott and Professor Hort. This DBS #743

3. The Last Twelve Verses of Mark by Dean John
William Burgon. Dean Burgon vindicates and establishes Mark 16:9-20 as genuine.
